Welcome to an intensive, fun filled and exciting course of Laser Dentistry. This advanced program in Lasers is aimed to enrich the knowledge of both the new and experienced laser user.
It is an Evidence Based Laser Course that equips the candidates with technical knowledge along with valuable clinical expertise.

- Hands on sheep jaw
- Biophysical interactions
- Modes of operations of Lasers
- How to equip a dental office
- Soft Tissue Lasers:
- Clinical case presentations- Endodontic, Periodontology.Implantology, Pediatric dentistry
- Diode Lasers
- Nd:YAG Lasers
- Hard Tissue lasers:
- Clinical case presentations- Cavity preparation, Tooth hypersensitivity, Hard tissue surgery
- Er:YAG(2940nm) Laser
- Er, Cr ,YSGG(2790nm) Laser
- CO2 Lasers
- Low Level Laser therapy
- Hands on patient.
- Patient follow up, case presentation and written exams
HIGHLIGHTS
- An opportunity to use of the entire spectrum of dental Lasers like Diode, Nd: YAG, Er: YAG, Er, Cr YSGG, CO2 Lasers etc. on patients, ably guided by our experienced faculty.
- A 3 month follow up will allow candidates to evaluate the efficacy of their work.
- To understand the Laser science and the implementation of various lasers in clinical treatments.
- Didactic learning, group discussions, hands on/ exercises, multimedia/slides educational tools and personal interaction with the faculty.
- State – of - the – Art Library with easy access to latest books and Journals.
- Participant has a choice to attend the same course at our two centres.
OBJECTIVES
- To boost the confidence level of the participants in using Lasers independently..
- To learn to incorporate lasers in advanced treatment planning.
- Know the guidelines for patient recall & indications for continuing care in a laser oriented soft tissue management program.
DURATION
The course is of 6 months duration consisting of 3 modules Each module of 3 days each.
AWARD OF CERTIFICATE
Upon successfully completion of this course, each participant will be awarded a Certificate from "Aachen University, Germany and IALD (Indian Academy of laser Dentistry)" and "Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery".
