Oral Implantology at SSCDS is a distinct department, unlike many institutions and specializes in the entire gamut of dento-facial rehabilitation using dental implants. The department consists of a multidisciplinary team of faculty from Oral Surgery, Periodontics and Prosthodontics, coordinating to provide exceptional patient care and outstanding mentorship to the postgraduate trainees.

The department of oral Implantology works in 2 coordinating halves which includes a

• Surgical Area
• Prosthodontic Area

The surgical area is focused on maintaining an aseptic environment and is equipped with specialized physio-dispensers and reduction hand-pieces needed to provide the best surgical outcomes for implant placements under the continuous supervision of a surgical specialist.  The separate, dedicated prosthetic area allows maintenance of  aseptic nature of surgical section while allowing unrestricted use of latest lab and clinical equipment to provide optimal functional and esthetic outcomes to patients.

Inpatient and major surgical facilities with round the clock nursing care is also available for advanced procedures like All on 4 techniques, Zygoma implants etc.
